Jarrod Loughlin - That'll Be The Day
As bassist for the UK's longest running touring rock'n'roll theatre show, THAT'LL BE THE DAY, Jarrod Loughlin is probably a contender for 'The UK's busiest bass player' title. With over 220 shows a year to sell out audiences, the show is in its 30th year and shows no sign of slowing down. The show performs 3 different productions a year whilst on its touring schedule giving audiences a new show in the summer and Christmas. The show covers the golden years of popular music from the 1950's to the 1980's and features all the greatest artists in rock'n'roll.
Each period of music is given detailed attention with costumes, AV and of course instruments. The boys in the band tour over 30 guitars to get the right look and sound and Jarrod tours 10 different basses including the famous Hofner Violin Bass.
Jarrod's relationship with Hofner means he can create the right look and sound for the British Invasion bands such as The Beatles, The Searchers, The Hollies, The Pacemakers, The Dakotas and countless other iconic bands of the 60's.
Jarrod uses a Hofner Verythin Bass and a Hofner Ignition Violin bass
