Back and sides from flamed maple, spruce top, lightbrown laquered, celluloid binding around top, back, f-holes and fingerboard, celluloid position markers (3-stripe) and headstock decoration (white brown white), dark pickguard, two ´55 510 pickups, two volume and two tone controls, two pickup selector switches.
This 462 with normal f-holes is shown in the ´56 catalogue, probably a prototype
