Maple body with tone block, rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, two humbuckers, unique electronic circuity: turn tone control to 10 for single coil sound, turn back to 8 for humbucker, sound works for both pickups, produced 1986 - 1999.
Since 1990 "Standard" was appended to the name.
